Monkey Forest & Trentham Gardens

Cara Tatina,
how are you? Hope you are ok :-)
I still have to finish telling you about the places we visited while we were in Staffordshire a few weekends ago, I really wanted to tell you about the Mokey Forest and Trentham Gardens.

Monkey forest is set in 60 acres of beautiful Staffordshire woodland and meadows where 140 monkeys live in total freedom. You are plunged into the Barbary macaques fascinating world as you hear rustling in the trees, chattering in a strange language and see the monkeys crashing through branches.

At Monkey Forest the Barbary macaques roam freely in a 60 acre forest. As you enter the park you can observe the monkeys living in their fascinating society as they would in the Atlas mountains of Algeria and Morocco.
It was really good as I never got so up and close to a monkey before! They were not really bothered about us walking around, they just carried on with their life as normal...eating, playing, chasing each other and grooming, which a sign of love and affection.

grooming!

more grooming! they just love it :-)

Next door to the Monkey Forest is Trentham Gardens, we wondered around the beautiful tall trees, walking around the lake and ending up at the Village Shop where we had some lunch and shopped around a little.

I love kicking dry leaves around

I did fell in love with Autumn colours!

Guess what, near the gardens there is something you would have loved: it's called Aerial Extreme...have you already guessed what it is by the name?! It's a tree based High Ropes Adventure Course, set within the tranquil 725 acre grounds of Trentham Estate. Maybe next time, hey! See you soon!

Cara Tatina,
come stai? Tutto bene?

Baci e a presto!
